Week Three update (and song)

We wrote a couple emails but the band didn't get back to us about either a song or their availability by Friday. It had been well over a week and Josh and I were starting to develop ideas around our favorite songs just in case they didn't get to us by our Tuesday meeting when we're supposed to pitch three video concepts to the band.  (though it's kindda hard to do a pitch for a music video without a song, hu?)

Josh and I spent our weekend fretting, waiting, and testing/developing film effects and treatments that we can use regardless of the story or method involved in the music video. With a bare week to do storyboards and styleframes, our hope dimmed each day that we'd have a band that would be excited and enthusiastic to work with us under this tight time frame.

Tonight (Monday night) we got a short email from the band's rep - they want to do the song Best Friends, from Eldren II album. We meet with the band tomorrow so Josh and I are going to work all night to have our pitches ready for them in the morning. Eldren's rep didn't send any information with the song and the lyrics aren't anywhere online that I can find. So here, for my teammates, are the words as best I can hear...
